Thank you for your enquiry. It is true that we mention Egyptian cotton in a blog article. If I remember well it was a general article on cotton. However we do not have products of Egyptian cotton in our collection at the moment. I think that the Egyptian cotton you refer to is extra long staple cotton from Egypt just like Pima or Supima cotton that are long staple cottons. You have to be careful as far as I know any cotton from Egypt can be labelled Egyptian cotton, but only a very small percentage is long staple cotton. The long staples make it soft. Extra Long staple cotton is very nice but expensive. We work with high quality organic cotton. It is normal cotton but certified organic. We have satin and percale. Satin has a softer feeling. Satin weave has a very soft touch. Percale has a slightly crispier feeling. It is often a matter of personal preference
For allergies it is important to have organic cotton,. As far as I know using normal cotton or long staple should not make a difference here.
I checked and the product you wanted to buy is sold out. However I know that a new production arrived this morning. It should be back on the site tomorrow when the product is stocked in our warehouse again. We are having some problems as Corona increased demand but our suplliers have problems as they can't work at 100% when people are ill and this causes delays on their side. The result is that now and then we run out of certain sizes for a moment.
